Naledi Phafane wins N2.8m for developing an app in South Africa
Naledi Phafane is only 15-year-old but she has already been an icon in the South African technology industry.
It was gathered that in 2016, Phafane won the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality Hackathon with the genius app she designed.
Phafane’s genius mobile app which aims to reduce traffic congestion recently helped her win the grand prize of R100 000 (N2.8 million).
The talented young girl disclosed that: “The mobile application reduces traffic congestion in big cities which are faced with a lot of traffic problems.”
